I will give an overview of the work that was being pursued at ICERM last semester including a bestiary of the models produced to illustrate mathematical ideas, and more details on two of the projects I was involved in. Illustrating geodesic and horocyclic flow on the modular curve/surface for the torus and finding structure and pattern in sets of complex roots of polynomials.
